. . . HOME OF THE DOLPHIN RIPPLE

Ripple Leaps from the Past to Help the Dolphins of Today.

FULL PROCEEDS of the sale of the e-book or print book of Ripple go to the Whale and Dophin Conservation Society International who will use it to help cetaceans directly. This will continue until the end of February 2012 and thereafter the WDCS will receive a percentage of every sale.

Thus Ripple helps today's dolphins in two ways:

  • By providing money to those directly involved with cetacean conservaton
  • By changing human attitudes and improving human understanding of dolphins through Ripple's story itself.

Ripple as Print or E-book:

This is me. Tui Allen of Tuiscope Web Design. I planted all the trees and plants in the photo except the ones on the mountain.
What is Tuiscope?
Hi! I'm Tui Allen. Tuiscope is my GST registered sole trader home business doing web design, writing and sometimes venturing into desktop publishing when it suits my clients.
In this photo I am standing on the same spot where I crouched to take the photo in the banner graphic at the top of the page.
It is just outside my home office window, and the mountain in the background is Pirongia, in the Waikato region of New Zealand. I climb this mountain often and ride around it on my bike. Click the photo to enlarge it.

Who's Thunderflukes?
Thunderflukes is a tweeting sperm whale. I admire him because he is trying to get through to humankind, to tell us we need to do something abut the state of the oceans before it's too late.
Check out his tweets (link above)
Also you can visit his website here. Or click his logo on the right.

What's Special about Tuiscope?
I only make web sites on topics that interest me so much I am happy to go out there with my camera and snap all the photos and write all the copy for it myself if necessary. Some of my customers need guidance as to what they really need in a site, but I am able to talk it through with them, work out what they need and deliver.
Check out one of my local websites, built for the Pirongia Tourism Association.

SORRY: Tuiscope is not accepting new commissions.
Tuiscope is not accepting any new websites at the moment. I am maintaining the existing websites only. There are two reasons for this. One is that there is a limit to how many sites I can single-handedly maintain (while continuing to build new ones) and the other is that I am concentrating on marketing for Ripple at the moment.
See the Ripple for more detail on this.
