I feel a big concern for the environment. That's why I built and continue to maintain the web site for the Mt Pirongia Restoration Society free of charge for them. I'd love to hear my mountain ringing with birdsong again as it was in days of old. The Mountain Society are the ones who are working towards achieving this.

I will never build a web site for company that is damaging the environment in any way. If you want a web site to sell the line of outboard motors you have newly imported from Japan, you might have to look beyond Tuiscope for your web designer.

However, if you are wanting to produce hand lawnmowers - a modern version of the good old mowers we used to have in the old days that used no petrol and made a beautiful gentle sound, I'd love to build the web site. And I'd be your first customer. I hate my noisy petrol driven lawnmower but you can't buy a good handmower these days.

I wonder about the older intelligences of our planet like the cetacean mind which has had tens of millions of years more time to evolve than the human version. How can an upstart race like humanity, possibly begin to understand what might be going on in such a mysterious and ancient organ? But whatever it is, will be lost forever once the whaling nations have had the temporary supermarket profit they seek to gain by killing these creatures.

These are some of the reasons I support Greenpeace in all their activities. They are the ones who are doing their best.
